As friends for over 20 years, owners Lori Nelson and Pat Carson decided they couldn’t let a good thing go and purchased Treasured Memories and reopened as The Urban Scrapbook inc. on May 3, 2005.

Lori, who for many years worked as an Engineering Tech and now a mother of two, has an eye for style and fashion which shows in her scrapbooking technique. Lori also produced and operated a successful bath line for infants and shares her passion for color and design through her joy of scrapbooking and card making.

Pat, who recently left her career of thirteen years as a Logistics Coordinator and a mother of one, has been scrapbooking for over eleven years. Her passion for fabric and paper show in her style and scrapbooking techniques. She continues to grow, always looking for new ideas and challenges in the scrapbooking industry.

Both ladies are thrilled to be working in an industry that inspires people to create and share their passions, whether it be scrapbooking, card making or paper crafts.
